Pictures to come :)  We leave tonight and come back Sunday night!  We are getting to Orlando late tonight and spending all day Saturday in MAGIC KINGDOM!  Sunday we are going to chill at the pool in our hotel and then head back by our curfew ;)  I LOVE my D-group and am excited to have this adventure with them!

Relationship Conference Weekend!

This weekend we have Relationship Conference!  One thing I came away with tonight is that I need to let God put love in the heart of a man for ME!  I also learned that it is not wise to give courtesy dates to someone who isn't a fully devoted follower of Christ. 

Another question to ask is "Does this guy have the same mission in life that I do?"  Another key thing that the married couple that led the conference tonight said is "There are times in a marriage where a man needs to know that he initiated things."  Girls should not manipulate situations...

I will try to post the rest of the talk we hear tomorrow up ASAP so you all can stay updated.  I will leave you with a passage they gave us girls :)

1 Corinthians 7:32-35
 ³² "I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord’s affairs—how he can please the Lord. ³³ But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world—how he can please his wife— ³⁴ and his interests are divided. An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord’s affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit. I made this sign yesterday at work!  It sits outside the door so people can see it as they walk by.

Introducing CRYSTAL!  Crystal is the hostess I typically work with and otherwise I hold down the host stand by myself.  Everyday on our table tally sheet, she puts "stay positive" on the bottom.  Another cute story about this sassy lady... I was working on my memory verse (Isaiah 30:21) in our spare time on a blank receipt.  I left it up at the host stand while I sat a table.  When I got back she asked what it was and then said that she thought that the verse was just so comforting.  I smile as I picture Crystal after that just staring out the window just smiling and nodding her head.  There is never a dull moment with Crystal or as she calls herself "cupid". 

My Russian friend, Lana, who is a server at work is now my friend on facebook.  She is facinated that my two guy friends are in Russia and wants to see their pictures from the trip.  Now I just have to get ahold of them somehow. ;)

I made another friend today at work!  She is a server named Kelsey and goes to the University of Florida.  We just got to chatting and it was really reassuring because it gets kind of lonely at the hostess stand with no one to talk to.  She is also going to be a Junior and was really sweet.

Yesterday, we had Inductive Bible Training in one of the leaders room with about 15 girls.  We are studying the book of 2nd Timothy this summer and went over how to do observations again this week.  Afterwards, we had campus prayer time where we spent time praying for OU. 

Today after work, I was working on a study the d-group leaders are going thru with our participants (Connecting with God).  I found this quote that was so cleaver :)  "You have been justified before God, and now He sees you as "just-as-if-I'd" never sinner." LOVE THAT!

GOOD NEWS!  Sarah gets back from her grandparent's 50th anniversary celebration tomorrow!  I am ready for my "disciple" to get back!!!  WHOOO!!
